I have been undertaking clinical work since 2016 when I started my first placement with MIND in Kendal.

I began seeing clients in private practice in 2019.

I undertake separate work on a consultancy basis with The North West Inter-diocesan counselling service which works with Anglican clergy, lay ministers and clergy spouses in the dioceses of Liverpool, Manchester, Blackburn, Carlisle and Chester.

I have a special interest and experience working with:

• Developmental trauma and CPTSD

• Clergy and faith leaders

• Spirituality of all kinds 

• Spiritual abuse 

• Attachment, including the experience of early life adoption

• Workplace stress. 

• Trauma 

• Those who have committed online sexual offences .

You may want to be aware that for personal reasons I don’t work with clients who are in active addiction. Although I do work with those in established recovery.

I do take our work to supervision with a colleague and I undertake ongoing continuing professional development.
