Alexandra Logan MSc
Counsellor and Psychotherapist
Working with me:
Safe, Supportive and Non-Judgemental
I offer a safe, supportive and confidential space to talk, to think about your life, and to notice your feelings about everything that has happened to you .
A Different Kind of Relationship
I encourage clients to look for clues about the source of their distress in their relationship with me and in the unconscious processes which can be rumbling away underneath, making us think and behave in ways that we find hard to understand. I aim to offer gentle challenge and warm support as we look together at what's happening in your life. I will draw your attention back to your thoughts and feelings and what you notice is happening in your body as we talk.
As an Anglican Priest I have spent a lot of time thinking about what happens to us in different phases of life and what it means to be a human being. I will actively encourage you to explore and embrace the things which make you unique, which might be your gender, sexuality, culture or ethnicity, or simply the things you love and want to do more. The big issues of redemption, despair, healing, grief and growth have been my daily life for as long as I can remember and are something I offer as a rich resource to my clients.
